The city of Steinbach is only 5 minutes from Hytek’s head office and near many of our sites. With a population growth of about 20%, Steinbach is the fastest growing city of Manitoba. Steinbach’s agricultural roots and traditional values, coupled with its consistent economic growth and cultural diversity provides a vibrant community for many of Hytek’s empoyees and their families to work, live and play.

Neepawa is a vibrant community, located a few short hours West of Winnipeg, and 45 minutes North of Brandon, Neepawa is a great place to live, work and raise a family. We have a strong agricultural, manufacturing and tourism base and a strong transportation centre, located at the Junction of Highway #5 and the Yellowhead Highway #16

The Municipality of Killarney-Turtle Mountain and the surrounding area is deeply rooted in agriculture. This industry, which serves as both an economic and cultural cornerstone, has stood the test of many changes and challenges for more than a century. Both the town and the surrounding rural area continue to prosper and grow as an agribusiness centre.

Grain growing is the chief industry. Spiritwood is an agricultural centre situated in the north central Parkland District, an area of relatively good soils.  Grain growing is the chief industry followed closely by the raising of livestock.

Virden has a diverse business sector with the largest sectors being construction, retail and the service sectors. It also has a large financial and legal services sector and several unique sectors directly related to natural resource extraction (oil). 

Cando, ND, “Duck Capital of North Dakota” is centrally located in the Prairie Pothole Regions of the state. Cando’s location makes it an excellent center for outdoor activities, such as first class fishing, big game and waterfowl hunting, as well as bird watching and nature photography.
